Here you can find out just about all you need to know about the JCL as well as rules and other information about up coming JCL competitions like Nationals, the Website Contest and the Creative Writing Contest. There is also a section of the site in which you can locate your State JCL's website.

A great resource for Novice and Lower Certamen. It includes a information on the basics of Certamen a general out line of what you should know for Novice and Lower Level, and some great sample questions for both.

Roman History Links

A great and easy to understand introduction for those interested in Roman History. Almost everything has the accompaniment of pictures to help understanding. The categories they cover include: Daily Life, Art and Maps of the Roman Empire. They also have a gallery of pictures and a section for links to related resources.
A site that provides a ton of in-depth information about Rome all the way back from the founding. They also have some useful features like their timeline, major battle dates and the interactive map.

Greek History Links

This user made page goes all the way from pre-historic Greece to a brief summery of modern Greece. Any one who has used Wikipedia before knows what to expect.

Kid Links

This site is a good resource for upper elementry level students to learn about Roman History. They have details, but not so many as to get kids confused. I'd say that it's above comprehenshion level for anyone under 3-4th grade (depending on their reading level).
